My day job is with Red Hat as a Distinguised Engineer, where I am helping build out and establish a service portfolio, on and around OpenShift in various environments.

Outside of my day job, I was the Project Lead for The CentOS Project for about 10 years. Additionally, I contribute to various open source projects in and around the infrastructure space - I enjoy working on Security, Automation, Management and scale related challenges for connected compute. Application of technology for real world solutions and improvements is what drives me.

I enjoy travel, ideally over land and in my car. In the nearly thirty years I’ve held my driving license, I’ve driven nearly a million miles.

I am stepping down from the CentOS Board, effective immediately. This last board meeting, the team has accepted my position and will be looking to fill the seat. Over the last 17 years I’ve had an opportunity to learn so much from the community and hope that I’ve been able to return something too. I am not going far, and hope to remain in touch with the community, helping where I can and contributing in whatever way possible.
